ibis Styles Kingsgate Melbourne

Melbourne is a city that loves events.

From major sporting events and concerts to festivals, exhibitions and conferences, there’s always another reason to be in the city.

Right in the heart of the CBD, ibis Styles Kingsgate Melbourne puts guests close to it all.

At the centre of our Event Capital theme is our playful penguin mascot. With his pink puffer jacket, coffee cup, microphone and collection of event badges, he represents everything we love about Melbourne.

His puffer jacket? Because Melbourne weather is unpredictable.
His coffee? Because Melbourne runs on coffee.
His microphone? Because Melbourne loves shows.
And his badges? Because every event is another experience to remember.

Our design celebrates Melbourne’s energy through bold colours, playful illustrations and iconic city landmarks.

Whether you’re here for a game, concert, conference or simply exploring the city, there is always something waiting just outside the door. Arrive, check in and step straight into Melbourne.

Come for the event. Stay for Melbourne.
